The Inspiration:
This piece was born from a deep fascination with Gothic cathedral architecture, Celtic knotwork, and the meditative practice of creating mandalas. The central Gothic rose window—inspired by the magnificent tracery found in medieval cathedrals—radiates outward in perfect symmetry, whilst Celtic-inspired spiral motifs and interlaced patterns weave throughout the composition. The result is a harmonious fusion of architectural grandeur, spiritual symbolism, and artistic meditation.
Perfect For:
- Collectors of original fine art and architectural drawings
- Lovers of Gothic architecture, medieval art, or cathedral design
- Those drawn to sacred geometry, mandalas, or Celtic knotwork
- Meditation spaces, studies, or galleries seeking a contemplative focal point
- Investment in unique, museum-quality original artwork
- Thoughtful gifts for art collectors, architects, or history enthusiasts
About the Technique:
Stippling is one of the most time-consuming and meditative techniques in ink drawing. Each of the approximately 500,000 dots was placed individually using a 0.03mm fineliner—a technique requiring extraordinary patience, focus, and precision. The density and spacing of these microscopic dots create the subtle tonal gradations and three-dimensional depth that bring the Gothic tracery to life, mimicking the play of light and shadow found in actual cathedral rose windows.
Handcrafted in our Forest of Dean studio, this original artwork represents not just technical mastery, but a labour of love—a meditation on beauty, symmetry, and the enduring power of sacred architecture.

Frequently asked questions (that we know you're thinking)
"How long with it take to arrive?"
Ah, the age-old question. Our products aren’t mass-produced by robots in a warehouse the size of Wales. Nope — they’re lovingly crafted by real humans (with real caffeine addictions) in our Forest of Dean studio. That means:
Usually 3–5 working days to make your masterpiece. If it’s personalised, bespoke, or just plain fancy, it might take a smidge longer — but we’ll keep you posted.
Once it’s made, it’s handed over to the postal pixies. UK delivery typically takes 2–3 days. International delivery will take a bit longer (because oceans exist).
Drop us a message before ordering. We can sometimes work magic — but we’re fresh out of time machines.
While our website currently only supports UK shipping, we do welcome international orders! 🌎✨
Due to the complexities of overseas shipping and sales tax, we’re handling international orders manually for now. If you're outside the UK and would like to place an order, simply Contact Us and we’ll be happy to assist you directly.
We’re working hard behind the scenes to bring international shipping online in the New Year — so stay tuned!
Thanks for your patience and support 💛
Don’t worry — we’re not offended. (Much.)
If you’ve scrolled, clicked, zoomed, and squinted and still haven’t found the perfect product, it might be time to go rogue...
👉 Head over to our Custom Builds page and tell us what you really want. We love a challenge, and we’ve got the tools, the talent, and just enough caffeine to make it happen.
Whether it’s weird, wonderful, or wildly specific — we’re here for it.
