The Inspiration:
“Crossing Paths” was born from a meditation on human connection and the intricate web of relationships that shape our lives. Just as Celtic knotwork weaves strands over and under in an endless, interconnected pattern, our lives intersect with others in complex and beautiful ways. Some connections are brief, others enduring, but each crossing leaves its mark on the tapestry of our existence.
The central basketweave pattern represents the dense complexity of our closest relationships, whilst the flowing border knots symbolise the continuous journey of connection and separation that defines the human experience. Each strand maintains its integrity whilst contributing to the greater whole—a perfect metaphor for individuality within community.
Perfect For:
- Collectors of original fine art and Celtic artwork
- Those drawn to meaningful symbolism and philosophical themes
- Lovers of Celtic knotwork, illuminated manuscripts, or medieval art
- Meditation spaces, studies, or galleries seeking contemplative focal points
- Investment in unique, museum-quality original artwork
- Thoughtful gifts celebrating connection, friendship, or life’s journey
About the Technique:
Stippling is one of the most time-consuming and meditative techniques in ink drawing. Each of the approximately 300,000 dots was placed individually using a 0.03mm fineliner—a technique requiring extraordinary patience, focus, and precision. The density and spacing of these microscopic dots create the subtle tonal gradations and three-dimensional depth that make each strand appear to genuinely weave over and under, bringing the Celtic knotwork to life with remarkable dimensionality.
Handcrafted in our Forest of Dean studio, this original artwork represents not just technical mastery, but a labour of love—a meditation on connection, complexity, and the beautiful patterns that emerge when lives intersect.

Frequently asked questions (that we know you're thinking)
"How long with it take to arrive?"
Ah, the age-old question. Our products aren’t mass-produced by robots in a warehouse the size of Wales. Nope — they’re lovingly crafted by real humans (with real caffeine addictions) in our Forest of Dean studio. That means:
Usually 3–5 working days to make your masterpiece. If it’s personalised, bespoke, or just plain fancy, it might take a smidge longer — but we’ll keep you posted.
Once it’s made, it’s handed over to the postal pixies. UK delivery typically takes 2–3 days. International delivery will take a bit longer (because oceans exist).
Drop us a message before ordering. We can sometimes work magic — but we’re fresh out of time machines.
While our website currently only supports UK shipping, we do welcome international orders! 🌎✨
Due to the complexities of overseas shipping and sales tax, we’re handling international orders manually for now. If you're outside the UK and would like to place an order, simply Contact Us and we’ll be happy to assist you directly.
We’re working hard behind the scenes to bring international shipping online in the New Year — so stay tuned!
Thanks for your patience and support 💛
Don’t worry — we’re not offended. (Much.)
If you’ve scrolled, clicked, zoomed, and squinted and still haven’t found the perfect product, it might be time to go rogue...
👉 Head over to our Custom Builds page and tell us what you really want. We love a challenge, and we’ve got the tools, the talent, and just enough caffeine to make it happen.
Whether it’s weird, wonderful, or wildly specific — we’re here for it.
